Features

1961 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 s/n 2759 GT. Has a documented ownership history going back thirty-five years with one owner for twenty-eight years. Has a frame and bare tub-up restoration with all body and floor work completed on a rotisserie. Stripped to bare metal with new fender bottoms and new floors as original. The doors, hood, trunk and fender louvers have been fitted and aligned. The underside has been stripped to bare metal, primed, painted and undercoated. Has bellypans. The brake System is completely rebuilt and operational and so 250 GTE s/n 2759 GT is offered as a complete “rolling chassis”. The engine rebuild is underway with new pistons, rings, wrist pins, rod and main bearings. The cylinders were honed and the short block is assembled. Comes with a new ANSA exhaust system and clutch assembly. Matching engine-chassis numbers of course. It comes with the very rare build sheets.

1961, June, sold to Thomasso Pantanella, Rome, Italy. Gray with black interior. Front and rear license plates, ROMA 70 5875.

1976 11 July, offered in the L.A. Times by David Schrader, Albuquerque, NM. Silver with black interior. Mechanically perfect, in storage six years. 26,000 actual miles.
