1962 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 Series II s/n 4027. Maroon with black interior. One owner for 30 years, still in regular use. Complete with matching numbers and almost completely original. A real barn find, the car was used by the current owner as a daily driver until the late 1990s and maintained accordingly. Extensive service records kept and are included. Regularly exercised ever since and never unregistered or stored. Complete engine rebuild done in the early 1980s. Still runs very nicely, good oil pressure, minimal smoke. Overdrive works, all gauges operating correctly. Dash paint showing some cracks. Older exterior paint shows some aging, with cracks and a few rust spots. Interior was re–upholstered shortly after buying the car and also showing some wear but the seats have no tears, carpets, headliner still in good condition etc. A nice driving late Series II GTE that can either continue to provide enjoyment as a driver or alternatively, is the ideal basis for a sympathetic restoration.
