2000, 17 Apr., as per interesting conversation with Brian De Vries he purchased this car from someone in Michigan who had owned it for many, many years. The man in Michigan had a machine shop and was a Bugatti fanatic. The man did fanatically good work and had parked this car inside his shop in 1980. It hadn’t moved since. The price was low because they weren’t allowed to start the car. The man seemed very sincere and ‘real’ and so Brian took a gamble. Brought it home. Put a battery in it. It started instantly and ran very, very well. Since then Brian has put a $10,000 paint job on the car, had the seats redone, the chrome redone. He is very happy with the car.
