Additionally 308 GTB s/n 21819 is fitted with lightweight and attractive Euro model 308 bumpers, a Euro model 308 grille and a Euro model 308 big front spoiler. The engine also features the “Hot-rod” P6 cams, four higher performance Weber 44DCNF carbs with 34 mm venturis; Euro 308 headers and a Tubi stainless exhaust, all putting the power to the ground through a lightweight aluminum flywheel with a new AP clutch assembly. The brakes and suspension are improved thanks to 355 front calipers and Koni coil-over shocks with adjustable spring collars, upgraded adjustable anti-roll bars, solid suspension bushings and Boyd 5-spoke 16″ dia. modular billet aluminum wheels with excellent Bridgestone Potenza 205 X 55 X R16 front and 245 X 45 X R16 rear tires. The engine idles like a pussycat at 800 rpm, cruises down the road happily at 2,500 rpm and pulls like a freight train from 4,500 to the 7,600 rpm redline. This 308 GTB sounds great, runs away from, out-handles and out-brakes 4-valve 308s, 328s and 348s. From new in Fly yellow with black leather and updated with an F40 style wool cloth dash and door panels with fresh leather on the seats and new carpets. The body is exceptionally straight and dent free. The paint is mostly original with some mismatch from spot repairs over the years. There is no evidence of accident or rust repairs to the body, underside or chassis. The trim, gaskets, window glass and lenses are also in excellent condition. The car has excellent drivability and functioning of all systems and has been extremely well sorted. Thanks to a fresh four-wheel alignment It goes straight hands-off with no shimmy and brakes in a straight line. The engine bay is nicely detailed and the under panels, belly pan and suspension are in good condition. The A/C system is rebuilt and blows cold. Has the Ferrari Heritage certificate #0000741 issued in in 2002. 308 GTB s/n 21819 has 52,115 total original miles and less than 20 miles since the engine, transaxle, brakes, A/C system and cooling system rebuilds.
