1978 USA model 308 GTS s/n 24837. One owner for twenty years. Only 37,755 miles. In dry storage for thirteen years but has been started and run up to temperature. Straight dent–free body. No evidence of accident or rust repairs to the body, underside or chassis. The body, paint and interior all appear to be completely original and in excellent condition. Starts and runs well but a service and tires are now due.

Makes excellent power with no smoke and with good oil pressure. All the switches and gauges are fully operational. 308 GTS s/n 24837 comes complete with the original tool roll with the full tool set, plus the jack kit and the jack bag.

History

SN: Ferrari F106AS *24837*. 1978 USA model 308 GTS. New in silver with black leather. Build date June 1978.

1978, new to Hollywood Sports Cars.

1981, 01 Nov., offered in the L.A. Times by Hollywood Sport Cars, Hollywood, CA. Silver with black interior.

1988, offered in the Ferrari Market Letter, issue #1307, by Steve Young, Cupertino, CA. Silver with black interior. 24,000 miles.

1988, May, sold to current owner, Bremerton, WA.

1994, major engine–out mechanical service, water pump and new BF Goodrich R1 tires done by Grand Prix Motors, now Ferrari of Seattle.

1995, August, driven from the Seattle area to Monterey for the Historic weekend, and back. Put into storage from 1994 – 2007.

2007, November, on consignment with Mike Sheehan’s Ferraris-online.com.
