2002, August, September, as per multiple conversations with Jobst Frohberg, Dobnar’s son–in–law:
I’ll be in California to inspect the car on Wed., Sept. 11th. Let’s meet and go over the car together.
2002, 11 Sept., inspected and driven by M. Sheehan. Started without much drama. No smoke. No engine noises. No oil leaks. Idled well. Drove it up and down the street. Excellent syncros. Shifted easily up and down. No unusual differential noises. Brakes need help. Rust free body.
