1968 Ferrari Euro model 365 GT 2+2 s/n 11061 GT. Unique “Speciale” configuration years ago by a California-based craftsman. 11061 GT is regularly invited to leading Concours, including The Quail in 2009. Very early example, #8 of 809. Well documented ownership and service history with much original documentation. Over $80,000 in cosmetic and mechanical improvements in the last five years. Repainted in an elegant Amaranto Metallizzato (dark red) with beige leather and tan carpets. A well sorted and trouble high speed luxury touring car, as Enzo intneded. Award-winning with full books, toolsa and toold bag and leather owners pouch. Priced very right for a unique and charismatic 365 GT 2+2 and impossible to duplicate at anywhere near the price.

S/n 11061 GT. 365 GT 2+2. May 1968 build date. Original exterior color: Blu Scuro 18942 M. Original interior color: Beige 3218 VM. Chassis Type 591. Engine Type 245. Gearbox Type 571/1212. European Version. Assembly sequence #8. Pininfarina Body #10/A. Full leather seats and rear area also in leather, instruments in kilometers, all as per the Factory Foglio Allestimenti.

1968, May, delivered new to official deal Motor S.a.s. di Carlo Allegretti e C in Rome, Italy.

1968, 17 May, registered on Italian license plates of Rome “Roma B 89463”.

1968, 20 May, sold new by Motor A.a.s. to the first private owner Giorgio Genesi, Rome, Italy, price paid was Italian Lire 8,000,000. Genesi was publisher of “Il Messaggero” daily newspaper in Rome.

1969, 08 Jan., serviced and maintained at the Ferrari Factory Assistenza Clienti at Viale Trento Trieste 31 in Modena, Italy, factory order #15G, factory delivery note #2827, odometer showing 9,113 kms, using Italian license plates of Rome “Roma B 89463.”

1969–1970, car used in the movie “The Adventurers.” The cars used in that movie were sold to David Stadsklev, a young American living in Rome at the time. Stadsklev sold off the other movie cars but kept the Ferrari. He then imported it to USA where he had it repainted gold.

1974 June, advertised for sale in the Ferrari Club of America Newsletter by Stadsklev, now of Tucson, AZ, odometer showing 37,000 km.

1974, sold by Stadsklev to somebody in El Paso, TX for $10,000 cash, no bill of sale.

1988, advertised for sale by Walnut Creek Ferrari, Walnut Creek, CA, red with tan interior, new paint, upholstery, exhaust, brakes, transmission.

1990–1993, listed in the Ferrari Owners Club USA membership directory as owned by Sam Ladki, La Jolla, CA. Front modified, front bumpers removed, circular fog lights added below the headlights, painted metallic red.

1994 May, advertised for sale in Ferrari Market Letter, Volume 19, Number 10, by Symbolic Motor Car Company, La Jolla, CA, red with tan interior, special front-end bodywork long nose, covered headlights, built-in driving lights, 29,000 miles, US$130,000 spent on restoration.
