European model 365 GTB/4. Much faster than a US model Daytona. Fanatical detail work to every component on the car. Exempt from California smog. Gorgeous black paint with a very nice light tan leather interior with black carpets. A much better than new 365 GTB/4! Well documented ownership going back to twenty–five years. Priced well below the cost of the restoration. Plexiglass covered headlights.

History

S/n 13987. 365 GTB/4. Euro model.

1977, 02 Apr., registered to Deborah Lynn Lucas, Newport Beach, CA.

1980 “ish&rdquo, to Gerry Marolda. Black exterior, light tan interior, gray carpets.

1999, 27 Sept., as per long talk with Gerry, the cars were gifted to his children. The family has owned almost all of his cars since about 1980. None are really for sale.

The family has owned the Daytona for twenty five years. Black on tan. An older ground–up restoration. Everything is powder coated or plated, every nut and bolt on the car is plated or stainless steel.

2002, 14 Nov., inspected by M. Sheehan at the Sports Car Company in San Diego. Black with a light tan interior and black Daytona inserts stripes on the seat. Euro car. Spectacular body and paint.

Highly detailed including chromed velocity stacks, chromed hood shocks, chromed hood hinges, etc… 8″ front wire wheels and 9″ rear Borrani wire wheels.

Has no smog, has original air cleaner and carb tops with the car. Has tool roll and some tools. Plexiglass covered headlights. Has a very well done outside fuel filler and all the original fittings, and painted fuel door to re–install if someone wants it original. New wheels, new tires, new exhaust, suspension completely rebuilt, all new everything! Another example of pay for the restoration, at a highly discounted price, get the car for free.

2002, 14 Nov., met with Gerry Jr. They had a full time mechanic/detailer for the cars so all are very well maintained and fanatically detailed older restorations.

2003, 05 Feb., delivered to Mike Sheehan’s European Auto Sales, on consignment.
