USA model 1974 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 s/n 16997, a very late, very high serial number Daytona. Comes with a well documented ownership history from new. 365 GTB/4 s/n 16997 was the feature Ferrari (and feature car) at the Canadian auto show, Toronto, 1974. Only four Canadian owners over 31 years, from 1974 to 2005 before being sold to its current American owner. Repainted black with tan leather in the late 1980s and then mechanically restored by Ferrari of Ontario in 1990. Extremely nice older black paint over a mirror-straight body, excellent chrome, excellent panel fit. Very nice older tan leather interior with black inserts, as-new black carpets covered in throw carpets and extremely nice mouse fur on the dash, a pride-of-ownership Daytona. Fitted with Cromodora mag wheels with excellent Michelin XWX tires. Comes with a full tool roll and the original set of books and pouch, complete with the original warranty card showing Yonge Steeles Motors Ltd. as the selling dealer and the 17 Feb., 1975 delivery date. 365 GTB/4 s/n 16997 has just completed an exhaustive pre-sale inspection, rebuilt transaxle and new clutch. We welcome any mechanical inspection as we do not believe there is a Daytona that can compare in today’s market. We welcome a “fly in” personal inspection or a pre-purchase inspection by the shop of your choice.
