1972 USA model 365 GTC/4 s/n 14835. Just completed a full carbs–off 30,000 major service with cams degreed, valves set, chain adjusted, all six Weber carbs rebuilt, both distributors rebuilt. New hood shocks, plugs, battery, upper gasket kit, air cleaner filters, all new engine belts, new tach cable. New rear self–leveler Koni shocks. Radiator recored. Cam covers and air cleaners stripped and re–wrinkle–finished. Full engine compartment detail. Complete paint color sand and buff. New leather on both front seats. Well documented ownership and service history with work orders and photos of work in progress. Rosso Corsa red with black seats and carpets with throw rugs. Excellent mouse–fur dash. Very nice chrome trim and rubber bumper fit. User friendly with power steering and good syncros. Chromadora mags with Pirelli P5 tires. Correct briefcase tool kit. 25k miles.

History

S/n 14835. Identified as USA model 365 GTC/4. Assembly sequence no. 101, body no. 86. Destinazione Harrah’s Modern Classic Motors, Reno, Nevada. (H. Raab "Ferrari Serial Numbers Part I, 2nd ed"). New in Dino red with black leather. December 1971 build date.

1972, new to selling dealer, Hollywood Sports Cars, Ferrari dealer for Los Angeles.

1972, sold new to Robert L. Laing, Casper Wyoming, 82604. Later painted black.

1973, Robert Laing over–revved the engine and took it apart for a rebuild. It sat apart for over a dozen years until sold in 1986.

1986, 01 Nov., sold through Monte Shelton for Robert Laing to Richard R. Cole, Santa Maria, CA. Engine and transmission apart for rebuild.

Richard Cole rebuilt the very low mileage engine, new rings, new valves, and rebuilt the transmission. Car repainted Rosso Corsa.

1988, listed in the FOCUSA Roster by Richard R. Cole, Santa Maria, CA/USA.

1991, 16 Jan., new California title issued to Wilkie Cheong, Los Angeles, CA 90049.

1993, 11 Nov., sold on consignment through European Auto, Costa Mesa, CA to a client in Los Angeles, CA/USA. 512 BB s/n 28233 taken in even trade. Mileage: 24,405.

1993, November, engine removed for major service, full engine out detail, new ignition points, new oil lines, new oil temp sending unit, new timing chain installed, update timing chain tensioner, rebuild starter motor, heater control cables, windshield washer pump. New motor mounts. Mileage: 24,405.

2002, 19 Oct., serviced for previous owner by Alfa Italia, Burbank, Ca. Service and rebuild carbs, $2,139.11 Mileage 24,904.

2004, 10 Dec., serviced by Alfa Italia, Burbank, Ca. Free brakes from sitting. Rebuild calipers. All new caliper kits, new brake pads, new brake hoses and new soft lines. Invoice: $2,746.67. Mileage: 24,922.

2008, 20 Feb., as per owner, he owns 365 GTC/4 s/n 14835, has not been running for four years. Needs a service. Wants to sell.

2008, June, delivered to Rod Drew for a pre–purchase inspection.
