History

VIN: ZFFZR49A9X0114641. 1999 USA car.

1999, to Miller Motor Car, authorized Ferrari dealer.

1999, sold new to Steve Black.

2000, back to Miller Motor Car with only 1,500 miles.

2000, sold to Marshall Field with 1,500 miles and Tubi exhaust installed by Miller Motor Car.

Serviced by Miller until Field decided to have the European–only optional Fiorano package fitted. The carbon fiber seats, roll bar, Michelotto brakes etc. were installed by Wide World of Cars, the authorized Ferrari dealer with very close connections to Michelotto in Padova, Italy. Michelotto is the “official” Hot–Rod tuner for the Ferrari Factory.

All subsequent service done by Wide World of Cars.

2002, 16 Jul., as per call from Richard Freshman, who takes care of Marshall’s cars, Marshall would next like to sell or trade his 550 Maranello.

The car is Griogio Argento (Titanium) with a black interior. Now has 29,850 miles and just had the 30,000 service at Wide World of Cars.

The Fiorano package was an option not fitted to any of the production US 550s. All the parts needed to fit a “Fiorano” package to the car were purchased from Michelotto in Padova, Italy. The car now has huge Brembo brakes, stiffer springs, a lower ride height, stiffer shocks, stiffer sway bars, carbon fiber seats, four point racing seat belts, a leather covered roll bar and a quilted rear package shelf and headliner.

All original parts and two spare wheels are also with the car.

2003, 27 Jan., on its way to California to Micheal Sheehan’s Ferraris-online.com.
