We are pleased to offer 1964 Ferrari 250 Lusso s/n 5861 GT. This Lusso has just completed a $275,000 bare tub–up Platinum level restoration by Chuck Wray of Grand Touring Cars. 250 Lusso s/n 5861 GT has new and near flawless silver paint with superb and supple all–new black leather, new dash covering, new carpeting and an all–new headliner over a better–than–new body. The complete under–body and frame, engine, transmission and rear axle, front and rear suspension, brakes and wiring are all completely rebuilt, restored, replated or refinished and detailed to perfection. All new brake and fuel hard lines and soft lines. Every bearing or bushing in the car has been replaced or rebuilt. Easily the best Lusso we have seen in many years and far better than when new! Never damaged. In storage in southern California for almost 20 years. Well documented history going back over 35 years. We welcome any mechanical or body inspection, as we do not believe there is a Lusso that can compare in today’s market. Complete with the owner’s handbook, leather pouch, tools and tool roll. Comes with hundreds of in–process restoration photos. Currently fitted with a 4–speed with overdrive for freeway cruising, but comes with the correct original gearbox. All matching numbers, of course. Ready to go to Cavallino and bring back a trophy. Priced right and seriously for sale at $679,500.
