We are pleased to offer 1972 USA model 365 GTC/4 Spyder conversion s/n 14963. This unique 365 GTC/4 Spyder is highly detailed and finished in very nice Rosso Chiaro red. Fitted with a nice black leather interior with elegant dark red carpets. The convertible top looks good up or down, and folds easily out of sight when down. The front wheel wells, the rocker panels, and the rear wheel wells have all been reinforced for a very rigid body. The car makes excellent power with no smoke and has excellent oil pressure. The suspension is soft and compliant, and the brakes stop the car effectively and evenly. Second gear synchro is unusually good, both when warm and cold. This is a wonderfully driving car, and thanks to Factory power steering, all the controls are light to the touch and operate harmoniously. Perhaps no Ferrari of the era achieved such a pleasant balance between performance and luxury, combined with the wonderful Ferrari V–12 exhaust note, as did the 365 GTC/4. The car sits on beautiful Borrani wires with “near–new” tires.

365 GTC/4 spyder conversion s/n 14963 comes with the original briefcase tool set and has a well–documented ownership history going back to the early 1970s.

US Spec w/metric/Italian gauges. Conversion done 1987–1988 by West Virginia Classic Inc. of Clarksburg West Virginia. This Ferrari is a driven but very well maintained car with a completely original interior. Conversion Details: Steel reinforcement was added along the front wheel wells, along the rocker panels, and into the rear wheel wells. Lateral steel supports connect these lengthwise supports. Jacking up the car in one corner will raise three wheels. The soft top stows into a compartment behind the rear seats. The top can be put up or taken down in only a few minutes by a single person. The interior was typically stark with the dashboard made up from big white on black instruments. There were no external mirrors to ruin the sleek look, but visibility was still good through the rear window. The car came with air conditioning, electric windows and more importantly, power steering which all add to the luxury of the car. The power steering adds so much to the driving experience that it takes the 365 GTC/4 into the realms of Ferrari and other great touring cars.
