We are pleased to offer 2015 McLaren 650S GT3 s/n 016. As McLaren’s weapon of choice for the FIA GT 3 Series, the 650S GT3 was first introduced to the racing world in March 2014 at the Geneva Motor Show as a competitor to Ferrari’s upcoming 488 GT3 car; first demonstrated in June 2014 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and first supplied to customer race teams in 2015. The McLaren 650S GT3 features a full carbon fiber MonoCell tub or chassis, making it one of the most technically advanced, safe and sophisticated GT3 cars available today. The carbon fiber tub is built around an FIA approved safety roll cage bolted to front and rear aluminum sub frames, giving both light weight and torsional rigidity. Power comes from McLaren’s race-winning 3.8-litre M838T V8 twin turbo engine which meets the FIA’s Balance of Performance (BOP) regulations, limiting power by restrictor to 500 hp. That power is put to the ground through a six-speed sequential transaxle actuated via steering wheel mounted paddles. Forged 12.5″ x 18″ front and 13″ x 18″ wheels and super-sticky Michelin Total Performance racing tires put the rubber to the ground while six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers and massive discs haul it down from high speed. A McLaren wind-tunnel-tested aerodynamic front splitter and dive planes stick the front to the ground while a massive carbon-fiber rear wing with a full-adjustable gurney and nicely integrated full-width rear diffuser keep the rear end firmly planted. Tire changes are easy with single lug nut wheels and a built in air-jacking system. The 0 to 60 mph come up in only 2.9 seconds and top speed is good for a 207 mph top speed.

The 650S GT3 driver aids include a carbon fiber seat with McLaren’s six-point seat belts, electro-hydraulic power assisted steering and McLaren’s ‘ATLAS’ data system and composite steering wheel with a digital dash display and multiple driver switch controls and mapping settings. A lightweight carbon fiber dash with integrated driver display and switch panel add to the driver aids. The ‘ATLAS’ data system allows McLaren to diagnosis service work and performance parameters remotely from the Factory in the U.K. As a GT3 class car, the 650S GT3 is eligible to compete in an incredible variety of international and national series and events worldwide and has proved to be competitive across the globe, winning the Blancpain Endurance Cup; the grueling Bathurst 12 Hour endurance race and winning in both the Asian Le Mans Series and Pirelli World Challenge plus many other national and international series. Both professional and non professional drivers have found success with the GT3’s versatility and competitiveness on every type of circuit and under every possible weather condition.

650S GT3 s/n 016 was used by McLaren for testing, client demonstrations and as a Factory rent-a-racer at a small number of Blancpain GT events, putting in 6,000 Km of track time in late 2015 and 2016. When purchased directly from the Factory in October of 2016, the current owner had McLaren install a fresh zero-time engine and gearbox and go through the entire suspension and mechanical system prior to arrival to the US in November, 2016. Today, 650 GT3 s/n 016 has only 1,980 KM of private track use time. Under racing conditions, the engine is rated for 10,000 Km and the transaxle for 8,000 kms before a teardown inspection and so 650 GT3 s/n 016 has several years of track use life remaining. 650 GT3 s/n 016 is offered with approximately $30,000 USD in new spares, including the McLaren Atlas software and diagnostics tool, allowing the factory to do any diagnosis of the car remotely from the U.K. Also included is a Motec C150 data logger and camera; a Bosch ABS Communication lead; an ECU Communication lead; two spare sets of wheels; new brake discs; a new clutch; fuel bottles and probes; a lug nut socket; a staubli airjack lance; Krontec safety stands and more. Since a complete rebuild by McLaren, 650 GT3 s/n 016 has been used only for private track days with no wheel to wheel racing and so has never had any accident damage. All maintenance records are up to date and available upon request. The car needs nothing and is race ready for the Pirelli Challenge, club events or private track days and a second seat can be added to terrorize your passenger! When new the McLaren 650 GT3 was priced at £330,000 ($560,000). McLaren 650S s/n 016 is seriously for sale and priced to sell at $239,000 or best offer, with all spares.
