We are pleased to offer 1995 Ferrari 456 GT serial number 99500, finished in stunning Canna Di Fucile Metallico Glasurit Fer 703/C (dark grey metallic) with a Blu Scuro (dark blue) leather interior. This very clean, three owner, USA Model 456 GT 6-speed was sold new on the 27th of August 1996 by Ferrari of Beverly Hills to Mike Tyson, once the undisputed heavyweight Boxing champion of the world and was registered when new on California plates 5UAZ337. 456 GT s/n 99500 comes with the full set of original books in their pouch, complete with the warranty card showing Mike Tyson as the first buyer and the original window sticker plus the Factory sales brochure! The window sticker when new was a stunning $207,000. Unlike so many 456 GTs, 456 GT s/n 99500 has great side window fit and both door windows operate flawlessly.

As the first of today’s Montezemolo-era cars, the 456 GT was first introduced at the FF40 Ferrari celebrations in Belgium in September 1992. Billed as the spiritual replacement for the Daytona, the 456 GT was better described as the heir to the 365 GTC/4, combining the looks and performance of a two-seat berlinetta with comfort and occasional seating for four. Based on a traditional steel tube frame, the 456 received an electronically adjustable suspension with three user-selected settings, as well as speed-sensitive power steering. An all-new 5,474cc 65° V12 featured dry-sump lubrication, putting out 442 hp thanks to Bosch Motronic engine management. The 456 sprinted to 60 mph in just 5.3 seconds, through the quarter mile in 13.4 seconds at 107.5 mph and on to a top speed of 186 mph, making the 456 GT the fastest 4-seat production car then available on the planet.

In a dramatic change from the over-styled and “busy” lines of the Testarossa and 348, Pininfarina designed and built the very clean and uncluttered 456 GT body. The cockpit’s focus was on luxury, with full Connolly leather, fully adjustable seats and easy-to read gauges. Air-conditioning and heating were up to world class standards, and the comfortable and quiet cockpit made long journeys easy – at least for front-seat occupants. The interior’s sense of refinement carried over to the driving experience. The V12’s output was seamless, ride quality was excellent and the controls were light. Thanks to its immense torque and smooth shifting six speed transaxle, the 456 GT is unquestionably the best bang for the buck in modern V-12 Ferraris, and especially for those who want to take small kids along.

This 456 s/n 99500 comes with the Factory 10 disc CD Changer, 3M clear bra, Tubi Exhaust, a silky-smooth 6-speed option, and a clean CARFAX. The exterior paint is in very good condition with only a few typical rock chips and a small scratch on the clear bra by the right headlight. The seats, the dash and carpets are all in unusually nice condition, with no rips or tears and only slight wearing on the driver’s seat. The rear package shelf covering should be redone. The all-important power windows work perfectly! Comes with the full set of books, the leather carrying pouch, and the original warranty book and warranty card listing Mike Tyson as the first owner plus the sales brochure. Nice dash, nice trunk carpeting, excellent tires, very clean underneath. Has a great sounding original Factory sound system with a 10 CD player. Comes with a detailed mechanical inspection, copies on file. 456 s/n 99500 offers the enthusiast an outstanding value in front-engine V12 Ferrari ownership with the option of occasional seating for four! Only 24,092 well documented miles.
