Great racing history including a first at the Japanese Grand Prix and a fourth at The US GP in Detroit, both with Gerhard Berger. Given to Gerhard Berger by Ferrari and rebuilt with all updates before delivery! Of the seven F1/87s built, six survive and are with private collectors, proof of the car’s durability and usability. While it is hard to describe any F1 car with 960 bhp at 11,500 rpm as “user-friendly”, the 1987 Ferrari Turbo cars are the last of the F1 cars that do not require a small army of mechanics to start or operate. This car can be operated with a single experienced mechanic, can be programmed for a long engine life, and with a 6-speed manual, the transmission is almost bullet-proof, unlike the later hydraulic-electronic transmissions. The ultimate addition to any Ferrari Collection or the ultimate bad ride at the next Ferrari club event!

Capacity bore and stroke: 1496cc (81 x 48.4 mm).
