We are pleased to offer USA model F50 s/n 104799, the last USA model F50 of only 56 USA model F50s built and one of only two black USA model F50s built from new. F50 s/n 104799 is unquestionably the best known of any of the US F50s, having been featured in Forza # 19, (copies on file by PDF) shown at multiple concours events, driven at numerous events and is widely known in Ferrari circles as the highest mileage F50 on the planet with 55,491 miles. Has three well-documented owners from new and comes with all the original goodies.

After the success of its 288 GTO and F40 as Ferrari’s top-of-the-line supercars, the F50 was introduced in 1995 as Ferrari’s first all-carbon-fiber supercar to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary. Power came from a 4.7 liter naturally aspirated 60-valve 513hp V12 engine, developed from the 3.5 liter V12 first used in the 1992 Ferrari F92A Formula One car, and later developed for 1994 in the Ferrari 333 SP for the American IMSA series, allowing the 333 SP to become eligible for the stock engine WSC category. With only 56 USA F50s built, the F50 has always been the most sought and most difficult to find of the 288 GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo Supercars.

In August 2008, at 53,698 miles, a factory new F50 tipo F 130 B engine was ordered for F50 s/n 104799 from the Ferrari factory by Ferrari of Houston. Total invoice for the factory new engine was $99,999.99 plus sales tax for a total of $108,249.99. Labor to remove the old engine, ship to the factory, install the Factory new engine, replace all filters and fluids, install all new hoses, new oil lines, new O2 sensors, new clutch and throw out bearing and overhaul the starter was $23,390.16. F50 s/n 104799 was serviced only last year, on November 30, 2011, at 55,285 miles including a major service by Ferrari of Houston, new coolant hoses, water expansion tank, R&R gearbox, replace rear main seal and re-seal the oil plug in back of crank. The front suspension’s lift system was overhauled and a new ECU was fitted. The total invoice was $11,145.50. F50 s/n 104799 has also had a repaint in February, 2010 because of 50,000 miles of rock chips. F50 s/n 104799 comes with 23 pages of detailed service records from Ferrari of Houston for a total of approximately $203,158.55 since Aug. 2006, (copies on file by PDF).

F50 s/n 104799 comes with both the original factory exhaust (installed) plus Tubi headers and exhaust, four spare factory new wheels and tires, the hardtop and the carbon fiber hardtop crate. Comes complete with the full set of books and full set of tools, including the owner’s manual, the parts book and the original warranty card and window sticker. Also comes with the luggage with the yellow carrying bags, the wheel socket and carrying case, the spare-in-a-can, the soft top and the soft top case. Also comes with the portfolio of photos taken at the factory showing the car being built and three charcoal sketches signed by Pininfarina. Excellent body and paint, very nicely detailed, needs nothing. Only 1,766 miles on a Factory new engine and 206 miles on a major service!
